• Altrusa is an international organization. We are the Gig Harbor chapter.

• Our purpose is to deliver service to our community.

• We are known for the annual Empty Bowls event that delivers financial help to local          organizations feeding Gig Harbor's families.

• We helped bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program to Gig Harbor, and we            continue to support it.

• We support other local non-profits with their service projects.

• We enjoy building friendships and having fun with each other as we work for our              community.
