" Creativity and art go hand in hand. Helping make pots with other potters was a real joy. A truly wonderful event.

"My work reflects the love I have for the simplistic design elements that can be found in our natural environment. My pit fired ceramics truly show the spontaneity and natural magic put forth by the fire with surprising, and sometimes unexpected, results. The carving I lay on the surface of my vessels have a flow to them which might reflect the flow of the many rivers and streams I have followed.
Erin Reetz - Clay Baby Studio
On a bit of a whim and seeking some creative therapy, I signed up for a pottery class in January of 2017. Little did I know that I was to discover my passion for working with clay. Two years later I am still honing my craft at throwing and hand-building functional pottery, bowls being my favorite. I now work from my garage studio on Fox Island and in this New Year hold an intention of bringing Clay Baby Studio into the world through online sales, public markets, etc. Come join me on this new adventure, and thank you for supporting Empty Bowls!
