7. Color Flow (with gold leaf highlights) by Melinda Curtin
The guitar I painted is a study in simple, flowing shapes inspired by the curving forms of the guitar. I kept some of the original wood tones in the body of the guitar and hand-applied bright patches of gold leaf. The colors are fairly neutral with several lively accents.
